My selection are all books I've taught with in either KS1 or KS2. This is one of my absolute favourite topics to teach with any age as children soak up information and ask such incredible questions!

It is important that children see themselves represented in books and the selection here show a more accurate account (or hidden history) of the space race in Hidden Figures and Counting on Katherine. Ensuring your shelves and teaching are representative of the global majority is important to me and something I am consciously working to develop both at home and school.
